Accessible Content Management System ( CMS )
We wanted our clients to have the option of updating & maintaining their own web sites. With this in mind we have developed a powerful, feature-rich Content Management System which produces accessible, standards compliant code and still allows for completely flexible website design.
The CMS uses a 'What You See Is What You Get' (WYSIWYG) interface. You simply type in your content and let the software do the work for you. Hand coding is also an option! With 'One-Click' editing on every page updating your website is as easy as 1..2..3.
You can manage your website from anywhere, e.g. from the comfort of your home, at work or even while you are sitting in the train station with your laptop and a wireless connection. In fact you can use it anywhere you have access to a PC. No additional software is required.
The WD Content Management System has been built with accessibility from the ground-up, making it the most standards compliant and accessible CMS on the market. It's also one of the most affordable! Prices start at £379.

Benefits
There are major benefits in using the WDCMS.
- You can update, change & edit your website content & images.
- As and when you wish without the expense of a web designer.
- Can be used by one person or a team - no need to buy new software for each person who updates the site.
- No matter where you are, as long as you have access to a PC or laptop with an internet connection.
- Search engine optimised pages.
- Separates 'presentation' from 'content' which dramatically reduces the amount of coding the search engines have to go through, making it easier for them to access your content.
- With CSS you can ensure your content is 'seen' by the search engines before images and navigation as well as controlling the order in which items download onto the PC.
- SEO friendly URLs.
- All content produced is fully standards compliant.
- 'What You See Is What You Get' (WYSIWYG) interface - the software translates your content into accessible, standards compliant code so there is no need to know HTML.
- Accessible web design means faster loading pages - all code to do with the layout is placed in an external CSS file, which the browser calls up just once and is then cached on the user's computer.
- Makes your site accessible to search engines, PDAs, mobile phones & across browsers and browser versions (future proofing your site) - it has been estimated that 743 million people are using these devices to access the internet!
- Opens up your pages to a larger market place by including access to people who use assistive technologies.
- Gives you the knowledge that you are not running the risk of litigation or excluding a potential customer.
